MUTIPET INTERNATIONAL, INC., Overview
Multipet International, Inc. is a pet toy company based in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As an in-house graphic designer for a small art department, I was often given the opportunity to spearhead major projects for high-profile clients. Such tasks included, but were not limited to, brand design, packaging, toy design and development, product photography, and email campaign design.
CATNIP BUDDIES™ TOY DESIGNS - 2019
In 2018, I designed Catnip Buddies, a line of plush, catnip-filled toys that were produced and included in the Multipet 2019 product line and catalog. They were also featured in a custom display at the 2019 Global Pet Expo in Florida, and are still sold today. Prior to my departure from the company, I was developing a holiday assortment for the upcoming winter season, as well.
ICE CREAM TRUCK BACKER CARD - 2019
A 14” x 18” backer card I specifically designed for displaying an assortment of plush ice cream dog toys. It was used for sales presentations to highlight the toys in an engaging, fun-loving, and illustrative manner.
MULTIPET COMPANY POWERPOINT REDESIGN - 2019
A PowerPoint presentation I designed for the Multipet sales team.
In an ongoing effort to further develop its brand identity, Multipet International, Inc. wanted to redesign its company PowerPoint in 2019. I was responsible for updating the presentation’s overall appearance and reorganizing its content while maintaining its original tone. This involved refining typography, ensuring consistent colors and decorative elements, and replacing outdated photos and media with more relevant options. I also sourced all the photos, either through stock photography websites or our social media page, photographed and edited the toys, and created all the display mockups.
“TONGUE & TAIL STRETCHERS” TAG - 2019
A product tag specifically designed for the Multipet “Tongue and Tail Stretchers” toys; a plush assortment of reptiles that stretch at either end when pulled.
WALMART BRAND IDENTITY - 2018
In 2018 I was tasked with creating Multipet’s holiday brand-identity for use in Walmart. I began by designing a cartoon dog mascot that became the face of our product tags, and ultimately the entire series of displays and product packaging. Among other things, I designed product tags, product wraps, palettes, PDQs, end cap displays, and aisle displays.
DOGGY TRAINING PAD ICONS - 2018
A series of icons I developed for Multipet’s line of doggy training pads, that were used on the final, in-store packaging.
WHISKER CITY® CATNIP PACKAGING MOCKUPS - 2018
A series of package mockups I designed for PetSmart's line of Whisker City® catnip, (3 styles). I created all the floral drawings, design elements, and illustrations by hand.
